Case is one of the most popular knife makers in the USA. They have a very loyal following both for modern knife enthusiasts and knife collectors.

Case Brothers and W.R. Case & Sons

Formed in 1896, three brothers started Case Bros.

Jean, Andrew, and John started out in the wholesale cutlery industry. They opened shop in Little Valley, New York and started out by contracting their designs out to other cutlers.

In 1900 they began producing their straight razor, hones, and knives in their own facility. Case Brothers continued producing knives until 1915.

In 1902 while Jean, Andrew, and John were producing knives, their nephew J. Russell Case opened his own shop in Little Valley and named it W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co.

J Russell proceeded to open another shop in Bradford PA where he began producing the knives most sought after by collectors today.
