Kingston Cutlery Company: History

For the WWII effort, knife companies were enlisted to produce knives for the soldiers by the Army Advisory Board.

Ulster Kinfe Company and Imperial Knife Company created a joint effort to provide knives to the cause under the name Kingston Cutlery Company.

Kingston continued to produce quality utility knives for the war effort. Thousands of Kingston knives were relied on by G.I’s and they are still treasured by collectors today.

Kingston Cutlery eventually went on to take Schrade Cutlery Company over.
